How to Track Your Career Progress with PokeBot
Use the Progress Tracker's Skill Matrix, score trends, and AI Progress Coach, plus Dashboard XP and streaks, to stay on track toward your career goals.
PokeBot's Progress Tracker turns your activity across the platform into a clear picture of where you stand, so you always know what to do next. It has five tools: Growth Path, Performance Dashboards, Document Hub, Weekly Check-in, and Progress Coach. Growth Path keeps your goals, plans, tasks, and Skill Matrix in one place. Weekly Check-in counts the plans you've created, resumes you've tailored, and interviews you've done this week against your weekly goals, and lists your recent activity. Your XP, level, and Day Streak are on the Dashboard tab.
What Does the Progress Coach Do?
The AI Progress Coach reviews your activity (interviews, completed tasks, growth plans, skill development) and writes a personalized progress report:
- What you've accomplished recently
- Where you're making strong progress
- What areas need more attention
- Concrete next steps with specific recommendations
It works like a career advisor who has read through your history on the platform.
What Does Your Dashboard Show?
The Dashboard tab gives you a snapshot of your career growth:
- XP and Level: Your current experience points and level, earned from completing tasks and practicing interviews
- Day Streak: How many consecutive days you've been active on the platform
- Growth Tasks: How many of your latest growth plan's weekly tasks you've checked off
What Is the Skill Matrix?
The Skill Matrix sits in Growth Path, and it's built from your Skill Gap Analysis reports. For each target role you've analyzed, it uses your most recent report:
- Current vs. target level: Each skill shows your current level, the level the role calls for, how big the gap is, and its priority
- Recommended actions: Each skill comes with concrete actions you can check off as you finish them
- Progress per skill: A bar for each skill fills in as you check off its actions
If you've analyzed more than one role, you can switch between them. When your skills or your target role change, run a new Skill Gap Analysis in Career Planning. The matrix links straight to it.
How Can You Track Your Interview Scores?
Performance Dashboards show how your mock interview performance changes over time:
- Overall score trends across all sessions
- Separate trends for mock interviews, group discussions, and performance reviews, alongside your resume scores
- Improvement patterns that show whether your practice is paying off
- Compare your recent scores to your early sessions to see how far you've come
What's in the Document Hub?
Your career documents are kept in one place:
- Career Plans: Your career directions, day simulations, skill gap reports, and Quick Learn lessons (growth plans and study plans are in Growth Path)
- Resumes: Uploaded originals and AI-tailored versions
- Interview History: All mock interview sessions with scores and feedback
You don't have to search through files to find any of it.
How Do XP, Levels, and Streaks Work?
PokeBot's gamification system keeps you motivated:
- XP (Experience Points): Earned from completing growth plan tasks, practicing interviews, and engaging with the platform
- Levels: Your level increases as XP accumulates, giving you a sense of progression
- Streaks: Consecutive days of activity. Building a streak encourages the daily habits that drive career growth
