Quick answer: Teal is best for organizing a search, with unlimited resumes and a job tracker on its free plan. Rezi is best for checking your resume against 23 ATS checkpoints, and sells a one-time $149 Lifetime plan. PokeBot, which publishes this post, starts at $10 a month and covers resumes and interview practice in one account, including technical and job-fit rounds.

A disclosure first: PokeBot makes this post, and PokeBot is one of the three tools compared. Everything here about Teal and Rezi comes from the websites and help centers those companies publish, as of October 16, 2026. We did not buy their paid plans or test them hands-on, so this compares what each company says its product does. Where Teal or Rezi leads, the section on that task says so.

Teal vs Rezi vs PokeBot: How Do the Features Compare?

Teal pairs a resume builder, which it calls its flagship product, with an organizer for the whole search. Its free Chrome extension saves postings from over 40 job boards into a Job Tracker, where each application moves through stages with its own checklist and contacts.

Rezi concentrates on the resume document. The Rezi Score checks it against 23 points, down to file type and font size, and Rezi has also added an AI Resume Agent you can ask to tailor and score your resume in one conversation.

PokeBot treats the resume as one step in preparing for the whole hiring process, and Resume Building is one of its five services. Resume Studio scores your resume against a job and writes a tailored version, and the Reachout Generator writes cover letters and cold emails from it. The same account runs mock interviews in nine interview types, each scored on a rubric matched to the type, plus Case Interview and Group Discussion practice.

The last column is our read of who leads each row, based only on what each company's pages say.

Teal leads on job tracking and Rezi on formatting checks, and both give you more control over design. Where PokeBot leads, it is mostly on the work around the resume: outreach messages written from it, and a Mock Interview room that covers formats such as case interviews, which the Teal and Rezi pages we checked don't list. It also lets free accounts download Word files.

Teal vs Rezi vs PokeBot: How Much Does Each Cost?

PokeBot has the lowest paid entry of the three: Basic is $10 a month, while a month of Teal+ or Rezi Pro costs $29. That $10 also pays for interview practice: Mock Interview has its own allowance on every plan, so Basic adds up to 10 mock interviews a month on top of the resume runs. Resume Analysis scores your resume against the job and ranks what to fix, and Mock Interview scores each answer on the rubric for its interview type.

How Does Each Tool Tailor a Resume to a Job?

All three compare your resume with a posting and help you close the keyword gap.

Teal. Save the posting to your Job Tracker with the Chrome extension, then attach it to a resume. Teal shows a Match Score and the job's keywords, the top five on the free plan, and AI bullet suggestions help you work the missing ones in. When you export the PDF, the Resume Export Guide can also move the job to Applied in your tracker.

Rezi. Paste the job ad, or pick a job from Rezi's job search, and the Keyword Scanner highlights the most impactful terms. Rezi's AI can write new bullet points that include them. The Rezi Score then checks the file against 23 points, from file type to font size, the most detailed formatting check of the three.

PokeBot. In Resume Studio, upload or paste your resume, then add your target role and the job description. Resume Analysis returns a Job Match score with the keywords you cover and miss, plus issues ranked most critical first, each paired with a fix. Resume Generator then writes the tailored version in one of three templates or on Auto, and you download it as a PDF or Word file.

Rezi Pro also includes one review a month by a resume expert. PokeBot's human help comes through Premium Career Consulting (Human + AI, from $199), where Resume Optimization includes a fully rewritten, role-targeted resume.

Rezi and PokeBot both work inside AI assistants as well. Rezi's Resume MCP connects to tools such as Claude and Gemini, and PokeBot's resume scoring and mock interviews run inside ChatGPT and Claude.

Which Tool Gives You More Control Over Design and Export?

Teal and Rezi give you more control over the page. Teal's Design Mode reaches down to fonts and spacing, and Rezi offers five formats, four of them on paid plans. PokeBot offers three templates or Auto, plus three margin settings. Its own editor says as much: quick wording edits happen in its Edit tab, and for layout changes it points you to a Word or PDF editor.

Export is where PokeBot leads on the free plan. Teal's help center says PDF is its only export format for now, and Rezi adds Word and Google Drive export on its paid plans. PokeBot downloads any resume or cover letter it generates as a PDF or Word file on every plan, the free plan included, and downloading doesn't use an AI run.

All three can start from scratch. Teal and Rezi start from a blank page, and PokeBot starts from the details you give the Resume Builder chat, which Resume Generator turns into a formatted resume. Teal and Rezi can also import your LinkedIn profile, which PokeBot can't.

Which Tool Helps With Cover Letters and Outreach?

All three write cover letters with AI, and PokeBot also writes networking messages from your resume.

Teal. The free plan includes two AI cover letters and Teal+ makes them unlimited, while the Job Tracker adds over 40 email templates.

Rezi. The AI Cover Letter Writer tailors a letter from your resume content to the job you want.

PokeBot. The Reachout Generator writes cover letters and cold emails from your resume and the job, with a purpose for each one: a Career Change or Referral-Based letter, say, or a LinkedIn Message or Networking Follow-up email. You can set the tone and length. If you are unsure whether a cover letter is worth sending at all, see Do Cover Letters Still Matter in 2026?

How Does Each Tool Help You Organize the Search?

Of the three, Teal is built most around tracking applications. PokeBot has no application tracker.

Teal. The Job Tracker and Chrome extension described above are both on the free plan, with no limit on how many jobs you track. If a job tracker is your main need, Teal's is free.

Rezi. Its Chrome extension tracks your pipeline and auto-fills applications, which Rezi says works across every major ATS.

PokeBot. Its planning services work on direction and progress:

  • Career Planning runs a Skill Gap Analysis against your target role and builds a week-by-week growth plan.
  • Opportunity Map suggests job matches you can review and like.
  • Progress Tracker charts your resume and mock interview scores over time.

Which Tool Is Best for Interview Practice?

All three run AI mock interviews with feedback.

Teal. Questions come from your saved job descriptions and the format you pick, such as a screening call or a technical interview. Teal can record each session on video with a live transcript, and its feedback runs from speaking pace to response quality. PokeBot practice runs in text or audio, with no video. Free Teal accounts get 2 sessions, and Teal+ is unlimited.

Rezi. Rezi AI Interview writes questions from your resume and the job description, then gives a performance score and flags job keywords your answers missed. The free plan includes 1 AI interview, and Pro is unlimited.

PokeBot. Interview Practice offers nine interview types, including Finance & Modeling and Product Sense, in Text Mode or Audio Mode. Each answer gets a score and written feedback, judged on the rubric for its interview type with your target role in view. The Mock Interview room adds Case Interview, a full consulting case with exhibits, and Group Discussion, where you practice with AI participants. For what assessors look for in a group discussion, see How Assessment-Center Group Discussions Are Scored. For practice with a person, Premium Career Consulting includes mock interviews with senior interviewers and question-by-question feedback.

How Was This Comparison Made?

Every Teal and Rezi detail above comes from their own websites, checked on October 16, 2026. For Teal, that meant its website and the help center articles that spell out plan limits. For Rezi, it meant the pricing page with its feature-by-feature grid and the product page for each tool. PokeBot's details come from our live pricing page and the current product.

Where one company's pages gave two different answers for the same limit, we left that detail out. Prices and limits change often, so the pricing pages linked above are the final word. If you spot something out of date, email contact@pokebot.ai and we will update the post.
